Gillen Club Inc (formerly West’s Sporting Club - established in 1972) a Sports & Family Club is arguably the leading licensed club in Alice Springs. With ever-expanding facilities and a membership base of over 9,400 members, the club prides itself for the facilities and services it provides.
Located on Milner Road, the Club is a short drive from the centre of town and major tourism locations that makes Alice Springs, a Jewel in the Desert.
Gillen Club was sold and redeveloped in October 2003 to meet current trends and ever increasing services. Construction was completed on the 27th October 2004 where the Hon. Clare Martin Chief Minister reopened the venue.
The club is constantly expanding and improving and in 2008, Management is looking at a $350,000 redevelopment of the car park, beer garden and out door areas. This will enable the Club to continue with providing the same services once the Smoking Laws / Regulations change in the Northern Territory. The redevelopment will consist of a new outdoor bar, BBQ facilities, entertainment lounge, several large plasma TV’s as well as a brand new fantastic kiddie’s area.

Every month the club offers a beer or ready to drink premix at a special price. Promotions are also run in conjunction with these special offers. This months beer promotion is Carlton Midstrength. The RTD promotion is Smirnoff Twists.
